The entire soundscape is crafted in the moment, using live synthesis enhanced by vacuum tubes, which bring a warm, organic quality to the tones. Torkom Ji is a live electronics musician and meditation facilitator known for his lush and ethereal tonal fields. His meditative live performances allow the emergent and dynamic qualities of sound to express themselves naturally, layering harmonic overtone-rich sounds that encompass a full spectrum of low, mid, and high tones in real-time. Torkom is a mainstay at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the Britely, and his sounds have been experienced at major festivals and conferences since 2012. He works alongside veterans, E.R. staff, cancer patients, and at-risk groups to provide therapeutic and restorative sound meditations that have been shown to improve mood, mental health, and sleep. Torkom has also worked as a sound designer, with his work featured in apps like Inscape, Mindbliss, Neuroexplorer VR, and Kargoe. His clients include Wesley Snipes and Ryan Garcia. Torkom is the former resident sound meditation lead at Full Circle Venice and Source Spiritual Center, and he has practiced at LA's top studios like the Den Meditation, Unplug, and Continuum Movement.
